Tour 1: A'Cheng City (One Day Tour)

The site of Jinshangjing Huining Prefecture is located at 2 kilometers south of A'Cheng. It was the capital of Jin Dynasty from 1115 to 1234. It is the only and complete site of Jin's capital until now, and it is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Shangjing Huining Prefecture witnessed four emperors from Jin Taizu (Wanyan Aguda) being called emperor to the Hailing Emperor(Wanyan Liang) transferring capital to Yanjing (Beijing) in 1153, ruling for 38 years. The Noon Gate, Imperial City and palace are protected well until now. The outer city wall, jar city, corner building and protecting river still exist. The site of Shangjing Huining Prefecture is listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.

To the end of November, 2002, the archeologist had excavated the site of Zhaori Palace about 10,000 square kilometers. It was known from the archeological excavation that the site of Zhaori Palace is located in southeastern direction. It is made up of main palace, corridor and back palace. Two sides of the main palace connect with the cloister. The distance between the cloisters of two sides is about 184 meters, framing the square structure by palace gate, cloisters and main palace. There are tactic large-scale poles, separating the palace into nine rooms. The inner five are main palace. This is coincident with the Chinese Emperors' hierarchy system in the ancient architecture system. The main palace, corridor and cloister make a ? shape. It is so special that it is not usual in China.

The Zhaori Palace is in large scale. The main palace platforms are all concrete and higher than ground. It is surrounded by multilayer black blocks. The wall foundation is 1.3 meter wide. Its area is 3823 square meters. An archeologist said: "Only the side of the 44 square poles in the palace is more than 4 meters. The pole is 45 meters deep. There are multilayer concrete in the pole to avoid wetness. The pole in Palace Museum is only 2 meters deep. Therefore, we speculate that the ground building must be marvelous at that time. How many people and how many materials it cost to build such a palace."

Tour Itinerary

Set off to A'Cheng city by bus in the morning to visit Jinshangjing Historical Museum (it was previously known as A'Cheng museum). The architecture style of this museum uses the mix of Jin Dynasty and modern architecture. Its form is special and unique. At present, this museum is the only one that showcases the cultural relics of the Jin Dynasty. It has more than 2,000 pieces of relics, among which there are 19 national grade "A" cultural relics. Jinyuan Historical Museum covers a total of 50,000?. There are 9 exhibiting halls: five exhibiting halls are on the ground floor; four halls are underground. Amongst the exhibit is the tomb of Jin Taizu. It was built in 1123. This is the tomb of the first emperor of Jin Dynasty, Wanyan Aguda. The tombs of Jin Taizu cover 5.1 hectares. During the tour, you will also get to see the Bridge of Jade Band, the Gate Temple, Underground palace and many more. The tour will return to Harbin by bus after lunch and end the itinerary.

Tour 2: Jingbo Lake (2 Days Tour)

Chingpo Lake is the biggest typical lava dammed lake. There are volcano group and lava land etc. The lake is 45 kilometers long. The widest point is 6 kilometers from east to west. The lake covers 95 square kilometers. It is only several meters deep in the south of the lake, while it is generally 40 to 50 meters in the north. It can reach 62 meters around the Luquan Neck. The average sea lever of the lake surface is 350 meters. The lake is made of discrete hills and capes, for example, Big Gu Hill, White Stones, Small Gu Hill, City Wall, Pearl Gate, Taoist Priest Hill, Laogua Zi.

Northern end of Jingpo Lake is the Diaoshuilou waterfall zone, formed by the falling water from Lava Lake, which is 25 meters high and 40 meters wide. The lake down the waterfall is very deep. It combines with the Jingpo Lake to form the Jingpo Lake scenery. Jingpo Lake is famous for its crucian, and gained special name of "lake of crucian".

50 meters northwest of the power plant of Jingpo Lake are volcano group, which is made up of six volcano-cones. The sea level of the volcano-cones is 750 to 1000 meters. There is crater forest in Shalan Town. The forest is called underground forest. It grows Korean pine, purple linden, cork tree etc. and also horse deer, black sheep and other rare animals. There are rare marvelous spectacles.

This is a lake in the upper reaches of the Mudan River. The lake is 45 kilometers long, surrounded by green hills and centered by an isle named Xiaogushan. It is a famous resort place. Northern end of Lake Jingpo is the Diaoshuilou waterfall zone, one of the eight views in Jingpo Lake.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Set off from Harbin to Jingbo Lake by air-conditioned tour bus in the morning. We will visit the scenic area of Jingbo Lake, one of the eight landscapes includes Diaoshuilou Waterfall, Blackstone Lake, Blackstone Wall, Guanpu Pavilion. The tour will also visit the natural landscape formed ten thousand years ago like the basalt. There will also be sightseeing opportunity at the lake (half lake) by boat to enjoy the lake scenery. Finally, you will have some free time after dinner to absorb the surrounding tranquility of the Jingbo lake. (Day one tour includes lunch and dinner. Accommodation is at the Jingbo Lake.)

Day 2: After breakfast, the tour will visit the underground forest by bus to enjoy the miracle of nature. We would return to Harbin after lunch and end the itinerary. (Day two tour includes breakfast and lunch.)

Tour 3: Five Great Chain Lakes (2 Days Tour)

Five Great Chain Lakes are located in the east of the farmland of the Five Great Chain Lakes. They embrace the northeast of the Old Black Hill and Burned Hill. They formed by the outburst lava of the Old Black Hill and Burned Hill. The lava blocked the branch of the You Mer River---the White River. They made up of five chained volcano dammed lakes. They are more than 20 kilometers long and can contain 170,000,000 cubic meters water. The total water surface is more than 40 square kilometers. The average depth is 3.18 meters. The deepest is 10 meters. The degree of the transparency of the lake is 0.5 meter. The first lake is the smallest one with water surface of 0.11 square kilometer. The third is the biggest with 8.8 square kilometers. Its surface is like crescent moon. The water flows from Dark River passing the five lakes into the You Mer River passing Stone Dragon River. The beach is grassland, lava and moor. The bed of the lake is sandstone, gravel and silt. The five lakes have different sizes and features. The coast line is curved. The water has good physical and chemical quality. The water is alkaline. The value of PH is 7 to 9. The lakes freeze in winter. There are many kinds of mineral; therefore, the water is colorful, being yellow, orange, green and blue. The forming time of the lakes is different. The first outburst of the Old Black Hill formed the first and second lakes. The second outburst formed the third lake. After then, the outburst of Burned Hill formed the last ones. There is water plant, plankton etc. There are 9 families and 35 species. There are also mud mussel and pearl oyster. The water is sustained by the river and underground water. The water resource is unexhausted.

The water of the Five Great Chain Lakes is of good quality. It is weight-carbonated and nutritive. There are numerous springs and moors. The temperature is low. The west of the lakes is the medicinal mineral spring. Drinking mineral water and washing wishing with the water can cure stomachic and skin diseases. Therefore, this scenery is a famous resuscitation resort.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Set off to the Five Great Chain Lakes by bus, have lunch after arriving. The tour will start with the visit to the old-aged volcanic lava volcano: underground ice river, snow world, frost flowers, ice and snow art. You will get to enjoy winter in summer. There is also the Ice Cave where you could appreciate ice crystal, ice art and ice light. Then we will visit the famous cold spring called the Long Life Garden where there is mineral spring shower while you bask in the sun amongst the wild animals. Then there is the Yishen Garden where you could relax in the Yishen Pavilion drinking natural spring water while fishing or boating. If you are not so adventurous, you could enjoy the numerous species of butterflies or the flowers in the lilac garden (Day one tour includes lunch and dinner).

Day 2: After breakfast, we would go to the Black Dragon Hill to see the crater and the stone sea. There is also the Buried-Hill, which includes the Birch forest and the Bagua Lake. Following that we will see the second and third lakes of the Five Great Chain Lakes and returning to Harbin by bus. (Day two tour includes breakfast and lunch.)

Tour 4: Suifen River in Vladivostok (6 Days Tour)

Vladivostok is a Russian name, which means "conquer far east". It means harbor, that is, Vladivostok literarily means the harbor of Vladivostok. This city is located on the peninsula and surrounded by gulf and Yccypnck.

Vladivostok is closely related with China, historically or geographically. It belongs to Russia now. It belonged to China before the Convention of Peking was signed in 1860. Vladivostok was the site of Russian Pacific Navy. It was not opened to public, until 1992 it was opened to public officially.

Vladivostok port is a naturally unfrozen port. It is also the biggest coastal city along the Pacific Coast, playing a different part as army port, fishing port, commercial port. Nowadays, it functions mainly as commercial port. Its main industrial manufactures are repairing and making ship, manufacturing prospecting machine and fish. Its famous local products are luring and ginseng.

The local customs is not very strict in checking the carrying possessions. Therefore, one can take some food to pass the customs. It is not long after the opening and touring of Vladivostok. The local people mainly speak Russian. Some of the people know a little Chinese. English is not prevailing there. In addition, the visa application procedure is complex. Therefore, it is not easy for individual travel.

Another important thing: if somebody wants to Vladivostok need to carry with personally passport (prepare the passport could get to the local public security and apply, the time limit is 15 days)

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Set off to Suifen River at hard berth of N23 train (21:38 - Stay on train)

Day 2: Arrive in Suifen River in the morning. Immigration and custom clearance is needed at the border. Transit including war insurance is needed. The tour will arrive in Ge city via international train or bus. Then we transfer to a local bus and head to the biggest city by the sea in Russian far east---Vladivostok through ??????´??k. Lunch will be served on the way. The tour will arrive at our destination in the evening. (Day two tour includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.)

Day 3: After breakfast, the tour will visit the Museum of Submarine in WW?, Orthodox Cathedral, Le Ninh Square, the biggest railway station in Far East, costal museum or Natural History Museum and view the city from the highest top. Then the tour will visit the Golden Horn, one of the high-latitude biggest unfrozen ports in the world--- Vladivostok Port. This Russian national architecture is the only land-port railway station in the world. We will get to see the head of steam train and the Monument of 9288 in the railway terminal of Siberia. (Day three tour includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.)

Day 4: After breakfast, the tour will visit Victory Square, the exit mouth of Japan Sea. At the light tower, the tour will be able to view the site of Russian Pacific Navy from distance---the Big Russian Ireland. Then we will visit the Jimu shop and other attractions. (Day four tour includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.)

Day 5: After breakfast, the tour will set off to customs inspection by tour car to return to China. There will be free time after arriving in Suifen River to do window-shopping. After dinner, the tour will return to Harbin at hard berth on N24 train (21:51). (Day five tour includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.)

Day 6: Return to Harbin at 7:10am, dismiss (Stay on train).
