Virtual Conference Format
Dear conference delegate,
Thank you for your participation in the IEEE IECON
2020. Please refer to the format of the virtual conference below,
During the conference period:
• Presenters and participants join the technical
session through the Zoom room by clicking the session in the program
https://www.iecon2020.org/Program/schedule.html, and a link to the
"online session" web page. The password has been sent to all participials
via email. If you have not received it, please email to
iecon2020@iecon2020.org with
your name, organization, paper number and email address.
• The Zoom room for each session will open at least 15
minutes before the scheduled starting time.
• The Session Chair/co-Chair will introduce the name
and affiliation of the presenters. Afterwards, the IECON organization
will play the video recording of the presentation.
• After playing each video in the session, the Session
Chair/co-Chair will open the floor for a short Question&Answer (Q&A)
discussion of less than 3 minutes. Thus, the authors of the videos are
required to be there to answer questions.
• The general events, such as the opening ceremony and
keynote speeches, will be broadcasted through IEEE.tv (https://ieeetv.ieee.org/live).
These events will be linked to the program mentioned above and thus can
also be accessed by clicking the respective sessions with the same
password. In the
case of keynote speeches, there will be some time for Q&A. During the
speeches and Q&A period, the attendees can write questions through
IEEE.tv.
• Note that there will be tutorials on 18 Oct,
Students and Young Professionals Activities, Women in IES
Activities and INTEROP Plugfest.
Please, note that outside the conference period (half a
week before the conference and two weeks after the conference), all the
registered attendees can still watch the videos on demand by visiting
IEEE.tv.
