Last Call for Paper 
ICIEA2010, 15 -17 June, 2010, Evergreen Laurel Hotel,Taichung, Taiwan
We have received feedback from many researchers that they encountered difficulties in completing paper submission by the given deadline, and hence requested for an extension of a few more days. After careful consideration, the committee is pleased to announce an extension of the deadline for ICIEA2010 paper submission to Sunday 15 November 2009. Please take note that this is the last and final extension, as we need to give sufficient time to the technical committee to review rigorously all submitted paper.
For those who still foresee difficulties in meeting the new deadline, we strongly encourage you toconsider organizing an invited/special session, which has an extended deadline of 31 December 2009. Please visit the conference website or send an email to the Invited Session Chair, for more details.
The 5th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA2010) is jointly organized by the IEEE Industrial Electronics (IE) Chapter of Singapore, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) and IEEE IE, PE and CS Chapters of Taipei Section. It will be held in Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Taichung from 15th to 17th June 2010. Established in 2006 by the IEEE Industrial Electronics (IE) Chapter of Singapore, ICIEA serves as a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present the latest techniques in Industrial Electronics.
Taichung is the third largest city in Taiwan, located in the west-center part of the island. It has a pleasant climate, and a population of just over one million people. The city is home to many high tech manufacturers related to optoelectronics and precision machinery, and in recent years has experienced rapid growth in the diversity of its cultural offerings. Taichung is surrounded by many tourist attractions, such as the Sun Moon Lake, the Ali Mountain, the Kukuan Hot Spring, the Cingjing Farm, etc. The pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, the rich history of art and culture, and the prosperous economy supply it with the glamour of a world-class metropolis.
The Proceedings of ICIEA will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and indexed by EI Compendex and ISI Proceedings.
