The 6th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA2011) is jointly organized by the IEEE Industrial Electronics (IE) Chapter of Singapore, Beijing University of Aeronautics& Astronautics. It will be held in Beijing from 21st to 23rd June 2011.
Beijing(Peking) is the capital city of the People's Republic of China, located on the northwest part of the North China Plain about 150 kilometers (93 miles) west of the Bohai Sea, with a population of over eleven million people. It is also the nation's political and cultural hub. Beijing is a fast-growing, dynamic metropolis that, while courting foreign businesses and visitors, maintains a firm grip on its rich historical and cultural heritage. It is also recognized as a modern international metropolis full of energy and vitality. Beijing is world-famous for its trove of historical sites and enchanting natural scenery,making it a compelling tourist destination.

Invited and Special Sessions: The Technical Program Committee is soliciting proposals for invited and special sessions focusing on topics relevant to the theme of the conference. Prospective organizers should submit proposals to the Invited Session Chair, via email by 15 December 2010.
Best Paper Award:Selection of the best paper will be made at the Conference based on both the technical content and presentation. The winner will be chosen by the Award Committee led by Dr. in consultation with the International Advisory Committee.
